McCain is a genius?

I have been reading comments from bloggers, twitterers and news sites all day long heralding John McCain’s genius in picking a governor of a sparsely populated state with only 2 years experience who is currently under investigation for ethics in that very same sparsely populated state, as his Vice Presidential candidate.
Genius huh?
This is coming from the same guy who admits he doesn’t know how to use a computer and can’t remember how many houses he owns. From a guy who has had 4 boughts with cancer and turns 72 today.
Lets call this for what it is - McCain wants Hillary supporters and for some reason he thinks that they will come to him if he picks a woman as his running mate.
I applaud the choice of a woman as a running mate. Truth be told, although i like Biden, i wouldn’t have been upset if Obama selected Hillary. She is that good, polished and capable.
Sarah Palin is going to be 1 heartbeat away from being the most powerful person in the world. She has 2 years of experience as the governor of a small state. She has zero foreign policy experience. Her “executive” experience comes from being the mayor of a town with a population of 5000 people who’se claim to fame is being the starting place for that dog sled race.
So for all of you who are saying McCain is a genius I just have to lower my head and sigh.
If you are a woman, do you really want someone as your champion who is opposed to women’s reproductive rights? Do you want your champion to be a life long NRA member? Women who supported Hillary certainly wouldn’t (i am guessing)
